8th INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON MOTIVATION
/ WORKSHOP ON ACHIEVEMENT AND TASK MOTIVATION
Moscow, Russia, June 12 - 15, 2002.
Over 80
participants represented 15 countries of Europe, Asia and Northern
America. Local organizers were L.Vygotsky Institute of Psychology
of Russian University for Humanities and Institute of Existential
Psychology and Life Enhancement (EXPLIEN Institute) in Moscow; the
chair of the conference was Dmitry LEONTIEV (Moscow State University).
The conference was sponsored by Russian Foundation for Basic Research
and Open Society Institute (Moscow). Invited speakers were: Alfried
LAENGLE, Society for existential analysis, Vienna, Austria, Salvatore
MADDI, University of California, Irvine, USA, and Peter GOLLWITZER,
University of Konstanz, Germany. The fourth invited speaker, Bernard
WEINER, failed to come.
The
video & text archive on 3 CD contains: video records of
opening session, 3 invited addresses, and final round table; texts
of conference program, book of abstracts, list of participants,
and B.WeinerТs invited address.
